Dayton man found guilty of sexually touching girl, recording it sentenced to prison

A Dayton man found guilty of sexually touching a girl and recording it on his cellphone has been sentenced to a few years of prison.

Jonas Lee Brock Sr., 41, was sentenced to two to three years of prison by Montgomery County Common Pleas Court Judge Timothy O’Connell for charges of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance and gross sexual imposition involving a child younger than 13 years old, according to court documents.

He was also found a Tier II sex offender, and will have to register every 180 days for 25 years.

Brock was in the Montgomery County Jail at time of writing.

He was charged after a woman reported to Dayton police on Jan. 15, 2024 that she found an inappropriate video from Dec. 31, 2023 on Brock’s cellphone, according to an affidavit filed in Dayton Municipal Court.

She said the video showed a man inappropriately touching a girl, the affidavit said.
